Neulich beim Motorbike-Händler meines Vertrauens…. (O.M. = Owner Motor Bike, M.H. = ihr wisst schon)

M.H.: Good morning Sir.
O.M.: Ohhhhhh – hello Mam, welcome, Mam, welcome!
M.H.: Hello. Uhm – how much is it to rent a motor bike?
O.M.: You mean to rent it?
M.H.: Yes.
O.M.: Ahhhhhh – you want to rent motor bike?
M.H.: Yes.
O.M.: Ahhhhhh – that’s nice.
M.H.: Yes. So….?
O.M.: So if you want to rent, you can rent it from me.
M.H.: Well – that’s why I’m here…..
O.M.: Ahhhhhh – good. We have motor bikes here.
M.H.: Very good! So please tell me – how much per day…?
O.M.: How many days you want?
M.H.: How much is it per day?
O.M.: Well I don’t know…. When you tell me how many days I can tell you?

M.H.: So 3000 for 10 days?
O.M.: No, no…. 300 per day, for every day.
M.H.: Yes but…. uhmmm..
O.M.: Yes, yes – you give me 300 Pesos per day for every day you rent.
M.H.: So when I rent it for 10 days its 3000 Pesos….?
O.M.: No, Mam, no. It’s 300 Pesos per day, every day!
M.H.: Ok, ok – I take it.

Bereits wieder auf dem Sprung.
Heute Nachmittag gehts weiter nach Bacolod / Negros.

Ach ja… ich darf vorerst für 60 Tage im Land bleiben, schön!

Manila – heiss, pulsierend, verkehrsreich und “man” trifft sich im Starbucks.
